Our favorite diesels are EMD E and F series locos, but any streamliner built in North America before 1960 will be accepted.
We don't want the F40PH. That's an angular box with wheels that has its own group.
Smoothly streamlined electrics are cool. The GG1, the Milwaukee Road's Little Joe, they're both good.
We absolutely love streamlined steam from anywhere.
For our European friends, we like classic European streamliners, too. These units tend to be newer, but they still have that classic look. They start to look like boxes and/or toasters in the 1980s.
PCC streetcars are streamlined classics. So are the European designs that were based on them.
If you have a picture of a streamliner that you think we might like, browse our galleries and compare. If it looks like anything you see there, we'll probably take it.
